Supply Chain Support Grant - Storms & Floods Feb-Mar 21 - Agriculture

To provide funding to help primary producers impacted by storms and floods in February and March 2021 to rebuild and recover in the medium to longer-term with the aim of supporting job security, future resilience and enabling future production.

Eligible agriculture industries and maximum grant amounts are:
Dairy - $100,000
Extensive Livestock - $75,000
Broadacre Cropping - $50,000

The grant can be used for:

  • replacing or repairing damaged, non-insured infrastructure including internal fencing internal access paths/tracks.
  • 4.2 replacing physical assets to return infrastructure to its previous standard, or to a standard that does not
  • jeopardise future resilience.
  • 4.3 clearing storm and flood damage including but not limited to removal of silt, gravel, damaged goods and other
  • debris.
  • 4.4 hiring or leasing equipment or materials including machinery fuel to rectify damage to property, infrastructure,
  • equipment or inventory.
  • 4.5 undertaking remedial earthworks and erosion management works due to storm and flood erosion.
  • 4.6 replacing livestock lost as a result of the storm and flood events.
  • 4.7 replacing plant stock for crop rebuilding and standard replanting activity costs (no more than one replanting
  • cycle).
  • 4.8 veterinary or pest management supplies/service for:
  • 4.9
  • a) flood-affected herds to maintain the health of livestock,
  • b) flood affected pasture fields to maintain the health of plant stock and crops.
  • accessing technical, environmental and business advice.

A 50:50 co-contribution is required for all applications. Applicants must demonstrate their contribution (financial, in-kind, or otherwise) towards the proposed recovery actions. Works undertaken and costs already incurred by businesses for their recovery and re-establishment (and not already claimed or paid under another State or Australian government program or insurance prior to receiving SCSG funding) may be applied retrospectively as eligible co-contribution only.

All 12 Local Government Areas in the Northern Inland are Eligible.
