Before and After School Care - Innovation Grant

The Innovation Grant Program seeks to encourage the development of creative and innovative approaches that will ensure NSW primary school students have access to BASC services that incorporate industry best-practice.
This grant program supports the researching, testing, piloting and/or implementing a new idea or approach. The initiatives must:

• Be relevant to the broader BASC sector
• Be a new or significantly customised approach
• Build capacity that extends past the life of the project
• Support the sharing of the project’s details and outcomes to the OSHC sector

Consideration will be given to a broad range of initiatives that enhances and improves the experience of all BASC stakeholders, including children, parents, staff, schools and the local community. Examples could include new approaches to:

• Care for special needs children in the BASC context
• Creative program design
• Community partnerships
• Resource sharing
• Staff development
• Workforce retention
• Policy development
