NAB Foundation Community Grants - 2023

ClosedGrant Closed: 31st of August 2023 Value: Up to $10,000 Run By: NAB Further Information: https://www.nab.com.au/about-us/social-impact/community/nab-foundation-and-grants

The NAB Foundation’s Environmental Resilience Fund was established to support practical projects that build environmental resilience to natural disasters and climate change. The NAB Foundation will provide funding of up to $10 million over 10 years for regional projects that build the evidence base for investments and interventions that improve resilience to natural disasters, particularly flood and fire hazards.

They’re looking for projects that support collaboration between several stakeholder groups. We’re interested in hearing from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander corporations and groups, farmers and farming communities, urban, regional and remote community organisations, councils and shires, research organisations, environmental non-government organisations, and local governments.

They want to support:

  • Projects or initiatives that are in early development stages, where funds can be used to build, test, and pilot an innovative idea or model. Where beneficial, the NAB Foundation may be available to assist in co-design of the project or initiative.
  • Projects and organisations with proven models or solutions that are operational, where funds will help scale and increase impact.

Grants of up to $10,000 are available to fund local projects aiming to do one or more of the following:

  • Readiness: help communities (people, environments, infrastructure) prepare for natural disasters.
  • Recovery: help communities, landscapes and fauna rebuild and rehabilitate after natural disasters.
