Welcome to our Business and Infrastructure Funding Opportunities Newsletter where you will find details of grant and funding programs that are available for the Northern Inland Region for businesses and infrastructure projects.

Workplace Legal Advice Program

Run By: Fair Work Ombudsman
The Workplace Legal Advice Program provides eligible employers and employees with free independent legal help to deal with workplace issues arising from the coronavirus outbreak.

Advice is available to employers on issues like:

  • stand downs from work
  • flexible work arrangements
  • pay and entitlements
  • JobKeeper changes to the Fair Work Act.

Law firms with specialist workplace experience provide the advice. It is free and confidential.

 

Regional and Remote Airports Security Awareness Program

This program provides re-imbursement funding to support regional and remote airports to meet requirements of the Screener Accreditation Scheme. The program aims to provide transitional support through the implementation of the new scheme with funding concluding in 2024.

The objectives of the program are to:

  • support regional and remote airports to meet requirements of the Screener Accreditation Scheme
  • increase the delivery and effectiveness of education, training and testing for screening officers and air cargo examination officers
  • reduce the cost burden of airport security to regional airports
  • support regional airport compliance with the Aviation Transport Security Act 2004.

Residential Aged Care COVID-19 Employee Vaccination Support Grant

Support to minimise the financial impact of COVID-19 vaxinations on the residential aged care provider and the individual employee.

The COVID-19 Aged Care Support Program Extension

Reimbursement for eligible aged care providers for eligible expenditure incurred on managing direct impacts of COVID-19.

Payroll Tax Deferrals

Businesses can opt in to defer payroll tax payments on the 2020-21 annual reconciliation return and  tax payable on wages paid in July and August.

2021 Land Tax COVID-19 Relief

Gaming Machine Tax Deferrals

Businesses paying hotel or gaming taxes will be able to defer their taxes for the 2021-22 financial year.

Job Saver

Supports businesses to maintain employment of staff for small and medium businesses impacted by the current health restrictions.

Payroll Tax Concessions

Residential Tenancy Support Payment
