Welcome to our Community Funding Opportunities and Awards Program Newsletter where you will find details of grant and funding programs that are available for the Northern Inland Region for community based projects and social enterprises.

National Shed Development Programme - Round 28

The NSDP is a competitive grants programme and applications are open to all Men’s Sheds across Australia regardless of location or AMSA membership.

The NSDP provides direct financial assistance to address the health and wellbeing of the shed members within the shed environment; support health education for shed members, deliver appropriate activities and programmes, improve facilities and the sustainability of Men’s Sheds across Australia.

Individual Men’s Sheds in Australia can apply for a range of financial support across the following five funding categories:

  • Health and Wellbeing and Events - up to $8,000
  • Shed Improvements - up to $8,000
  • Tools and Equipment – up to $5,000
  • Mental health and wellbeing and events – up to $8,000
  • Automated External Defibrillators – up to $2,250

 

Sporting Schools - 2024 - Term 4

Sporting Schools offers grant opportunities for primary schools, and targeted grant opportunities for secondary schools in relation to year 7 and 8 students. Grants support the delivery of sport-based programs to help students build the confidence and capability to be active for life. Sporting Schools has partnered with more than 35 national sporting organisations (NSOs) and national sporting organisations for people with disability (NSODs) to facilitate delivery of Sporting Schools programs.

 

Revive Live

The Revive Live program is part of the Australian Government’s Critical Support for the Live Music and Festivals measure in the 2024/25 Federal Budget. Revive Live will provide essential support to established live music venues and music festivals to assist them to continue to operate in the current operating climate, limiting venue closures and event cancellations, and stimulating long-term sustainability. Revive Live will also have a focus on improving accessibility for disabled artists and patrons.

Revive Live will run from 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025, with $7.7 million available. The maximum grant amount is $100,000 for venues and small festivals, and larger festivals with more than 10,000 attendees can revive funding of up to $200,000. A larger grant amount of up to $250,000 may be considered, where warranted, and assessed on a case by case basis (for example, touring festivals in three or more cities with more than 30,000 combined attendees).
